Teacher Ethics, Part II - "Going Beyond" Tuesday, February 9, 2021 at 7-8:15 p.m.
This session will feature the Model Code of Ethics for Educators and promote discussion on the definitions of “codes of conduct” vs. “codes of ethics,” the concept of “ethical equilibrium,” the empaneling of a peer-review, mock “PMEA Ethics Jury,” samples of good and bad professional decision-making, entrenched teacher attitudes, and ethical “conundrums.”
This webinar is presented by Paul Fox, Chair of the PMEA Council for Teacher Training, Recruitment and Retention. Registration is free to PMEA members and Act 48 credit is available following the presentation upon completion of two forms.
