2011 National Judges Association Hall of Fame

Long time member of National Judges Association, with William Wildemore and Dominic Fulginiti, Jack was the organizing force for what has now become the Tournament Indoor Association Atlantic Coast Championship (Weekend in Wildwood) featuring 200+ competing ensembles over four days.

National Judges Association Hall Of Fame Bio: John (Jack) Drummond was a member of the National Judges Association for 50 plus years. Jack was Chief Judge of the NJA Indoor Association from 1965-77. In 1972, Jack was appointed to head the NJA Weekend in Wildwood venture. This event continues today, and is arguably NJA’s signature event of the year. Jack continued to be involved with this event, 40 years later.

John Drummond’s pageantry career included instructing the Mount Ephraim AL Drum corps in 1942, organizing the AL Post 392 Cameron Cadets Jr. Drum Corps and instructing there from 1949-1953, and organizing and instructing at the Bellaires Jr. Drum Corps from 1957-1963. Jack was also the director of the Shadettes Color Guard from 1975-81.

The Drummond family includes his wife Carol (an NJA member herself), and six children, John B. Drummond III, Vicki Mell, Betty Stow, Dawn Wolfrom, Brad C Drummond, and Janette Wysocki.
