Only 1 more day until the CBDNA – College Band Directors National AssociationIntercollegiate Marching Band debuts at about 10 p.m. during halftime of the College Football Playoff National Championship game.
Nearly 1,500 nominated performers from 200 bands will join together! Leading up to the event, Publisher Christine Ngeo Katzman will join the other founding partners to talk about the importance of this project! She’ll also present a visual recap of Halftime Magazine’s story “Marching Through a Pandemic part 2” about colleges that continued to support their teams and create music this past fall season. She’ll be joined live by Barry Houser from the University of Illinois Marching Illini and Mark Spede from the Clemson University Tiger Band.
Also, Lexi Duda, one of the IMB program hosts, will present a preview of our upcoming Halftime Magazine story on “Bands at the Bowls.” Join us starting at 6 p.m. on the Intercollegiate Marching Band YouTube channel for the Virtual Tailgate and then again at 10 p.m. for the IMB #CFBVirtualHalftime!
